Audi has launched the new updated Q3 in India today. It is available with a 2.0-litre TDI engine in two states of tune, 150 bhp and 184 bhp. Prices start at Rs 34.2 lakh for the FWD model and Rs 37.2 lakh for the Quattro version. This is Audi’s third launch this year (see the previous launches). Let me also add that this is NOT the international 2017 Q3 – that will still take sometime to come to India.
2017 Audi Q3 Design Changes
The new Q3 looks a lot similar to the outgoing version. Design changes are minimal and these include redesigned bumpers which look sharper, new air-inlets, standard Panoramic sunroof, standard 17″ alloy wheels, LED headlights with LED DRLs etc.
2017 Audi Q3 Interior Changes
On the inside, this updated Q3 gets a new 4-Spoke multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifters, front seats with electric adjustment are now standard, sporty aluminium tangent inlays (on the Quattro version), elegant walnut brown inlays (on the FWD) and ‘deluxe’ 2 zone automatic air conditioner.

The new Q3 comes only with diesel engine options. The FWD (front wheel drive) model gets a 150 bhp 2.0-litre TDI unit that generates 340 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed S-tronic automatic gearbox and Audi claims a 0-100km/h timing of 9.3 seconds.
The Quattro (all-wheel drive) version gets a more powerful version of the same engine. At 184 bhp of power and 380 Nm of torque, this version goes from 0 to 100 in 7.9 seconds. The certified ARAI economy for the FWD and AWD versions stand at 18.51 kmpl and 15.17 kmpl respectively
