Its a little known fact that the Maruti Ertiga is the most successful 7-seater family MPV under Rs 10 lakh in India. The company has been selling the Ertiga in good numbers (3,00,000 units sold so far) and had revised it slightly a couple of years back – this includes the SHVS mild-hybrid diesel version. And now, Maruti has introduced yet another limited edition version of the Ertiga.
Available with both petrol and diesel engine options, the Maruti Ertiga Limited Edition is priced at Rs 7.85 for the 1.4-litre petrol and Rs 8.10 lakh for the 1.3-litre diesel. This new edition is based on the VXI / VDI trim levels and comes with a host of added features. These include:
- Alloy wheels
- A new body color (exquisite maroon)
- Chrome fog-lamp bezel
- Chrome body side moulding
- Plush interiors – all black
- Premium seat covers
- Wooden finish interior styling kit
- Glistening accent finish
- Front seat armrest
- Dual tone steering cover
- White ambient light
- Cushion pillows to wrap up the package
The new Ertiga limited edition will be available in three colors of Exquisite Maroon, Silky Silver and Superior White. There are no mechanical changes to the car. Maruti had recently launched the new Ignis (read our review) and is now gearing up to launch the turbo-charged petrol Baleno on 3rd March.
