We got you exclusive images of the new Beat being tested in Delhi this month (read article) and now a close friend and automobile fanatic has managed to capture the interiors as well. As seen in these exclusive images, Chevrolet will up the ante by offering features like Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto in the top end versions.
The central console houses the big touch-screen infotainment system. The central air-con vents also seem to be new. This infotainment system gets a nice polished silver frame which looks up-market. Below this system are the controls for the manually operated air-con. Chevrolet used to offer climate control at one point of time but removed it later on. The interiors are a mix of black and beige with seats being covered in a light shade as well.
We also feel the speedometer console is revised. The outer casing seems to be new and the unit has more of a rectangular design now. The rest of the interiors remain more or less the same. The new Beat will continue to come with the same engine options that include a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.0-litre diesel unit. Both these options are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Chevrolet will launch this new Beat early next year. October will also see the launch of the all-new Trailblazer in India.
