Maruti Ignis Engines
The Ignis will come with the same engine options as the Baleno or the Swift. This means it will get the tried and tested KB12 petrol engine and the same 1.3-litre DDiS diesel motor. Both the engine options will be available with a choice of either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT automatic transmission. This will make the Ignis the most affordable diesel automatic in India. Expect the diesel version to offer fuel economy of 20kmpl in city conditions and as much as 24-25kmpl at highway speeds.

- Keyless entry with start-stop
- Smartphone integration and navigation
- Apple CarPlay

The Ignis has to be the most radical looking car in the segment. Its a perfect blend of retro styling with modern cues. Similar to the exteriors, the cabin design is also a huge step forward as compared to its rivals. We are sure the young at heart will definitely love the Ignis.
