Maruti Suzuki WagonR VXI+ price starts at Rs 4.69 lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched a new top end version of the WagonR hatchback. It is called the VXI+ and primarily replaces the StingRay model that was being sold in parallel by the company. If you recall, the StingRay itself was based on the WagonR but with a bolder look and slightly different interiors in terms of all-black theme.

The new WagonR VXI+ now sits at the top of the model line-up (versions). It is available with both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT (automated manual transmission) option. Prices are as follows

  • Maruti WagonR VXI+ : Rs 4,69,840
  • Maruti WagonR VXI+ (O) : Rs 4,89,072
  • Maruti WagonR VXI+ AGS (automatic) : Rs 5,17,253
  • Maruti WagonR VXI+ AGS (O) : Rs 5,36,486

This makes the WagonR VXI+ about Rs 34,500 more expensive than the normal VXI version. Changes in the VXI+ model include

  • Gets a revised front-end (same as the StingRay)

  • Stylish front grill
  • Alloy wheels
  • Side skirts
  • Piano black finish on the inside
  • Dual tone interior colour scheme
  • Premium seat fabric
  • Dual Airbags, ABS as optional with the (O) versions
