Audi India launched the face-lift A3 in the top-down or Cabriolet form yesterday. Priced at Rs 47.98 lakh, the 2017 A3 Cabriolet is being offered with a 1.4-litre TFSI petrol engine with 150 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque. Audi India cleverly picked 8th Feb or ‘Rose Day’ as the perfect time to launch this new car.
The highlight of the car is its ability to go topless. It may cost close to 55 big ones (on-road), but we are certain that the A3, in red, will turn more eyes on the road that all other cars in the same price bracket. Talking of which, the A3’s top can be opened up at speeds of upto 50km/h. Talk about flaunting the design on the move in traffic!
The new A3 looks sharper than ever before. This includes the new single frame grille that features sharper contours and is broader. The headlights are flatter, with distinctive outer contours and make the front end look awesome. Want something even more fancier? See this new Audi RS7 then!
On the inside you get a newly designed three-spoke multi-function steering, a lender and flatter instrumentation panel and a driver centric central console. You also get an electrically retractable MMI screen with a 7-inch color display. Other features include Audi Phone Box, Dual zone air-con with sun dependent control, Audi parking system, five airbags etc. Topping it up are the seats which are crafted in Milano leather upholstery.
